Waterborne epoxy coating crosslinking agent is one of the key components of the final performance of waterborne epoxy floor coatings. As the crosslinking agent of waterborne epoxy resin, it should be able to dissolve or disperse well in water, and it can be stable in water, and has good compatibility with epoxy resin.
Waterborne epoxy floor coating cross-linking agent can be emulsified epoxy resin directly or with waterborne epoxy resin emulsion as stable waterborne epoxy resin system, meanwhile the rheological properties of system, application period, the conditions of crosslinking and coating performance should also meet the requirements of floor coating use.
The additives can be dispersed in the composition of epoxy resin, and can also be dispersed in the components of aqueous epoxy crosslinking agent or in two components.
Fillers dispersed in the epoxy resin composition will be affected by the limitation of viscosity of epoxy resin, the dosage of the fillers can't add too much, dispersing efficiency is low, to avoid to produce floating color and hair flower phenomenon, usually need to join the dispersant to prevent pigment flocculation, which can overcome the floating caused by fillers flocculation color and hair flower, but use of dispersant for oil-water dual-purpose dispersant.
So we suggest that the epoxy resin composition with paint in waterborne epoxy crosslinking agent components, which has the function of emulsified epoxy crosslinking agent molecules containing surface activity chain segments, wetting fillers, there was a wetting dispersing effect, can be directly without dispersant with paint.
Because the water's surface tension is higher, poor wettability of substrate, especially with the surface of the residual oil is more difficult to wetting, then join the wetting flow ping agent to improve its wettability, but also improved the flow property of coatings.

In addition, the viscosity of the crosslinking agent can be adjusted by adding the thickener, which makes the viscosity of the two components not much different, so it can be mixed emulsification.
The preparation process of waterborne epoxy floor coatings is
(1) the water-based epoxy crosslinking agent GCA01, water and a small amount of antifoaming agent are added to the feeding tube, stirring until the water-based epoxy crosslinking agent GCA01 dissolve evenly;
(2) add titanium dioxide and various kinds of fillings to the medium speed, first disperse 10min at high speed, then grind the sand until the fineness is less than 50um.
(3) after filtration, slowly add the water-based epoxy crosslinking agent GCA01 at medium speed, and then stir 15min after adding;
(4) use thickener to adjust the paint viscosity and add the antifoaming agent at low speed, and then pack after 5min.
Waterborne epoxy crosslinking agent GCA01 and epoxy resin DER331 are prepared with the properties of waterborne epoxy floor coatings.
