O-phenyl two carboxylic acid two (2- ethyl hexyl) ester (DOP) has high plasticizing efficiency, good volatility, migration resistance, water resistance, weather resistance and other comprehensive properties. The production of soft PVC calendered films, mainly plasticizer in DOP and adipic acid two (2- ethylhexyl) ester (DOA) for cold resistant plasticizer.
The epoxy fatty acid ester plasticizer has good thermal stability and cold resistance. The commonly used varieties are epoxy stearic acid 2- ethyl hexyl ester, epoxy soybean oleic acid 2- ethyl hexyl ester and so on.
The high barrier polyvinylidene chloroethylene (PVDC) film for food packaging should be added with a proper amount of 8~10phr nontoxic plasticizer. The main products are acetyl tributyl citrate and acetyl citric acid three (2- ethylhexyl) ester, decanedioic acid two (2- ethylhexyl) ester (DOS) etc.. These plasticizers are also nontoxic plasticizers commonly used in PVC.

Plasticizers are substances that are added to polymer polymerization systems to increase their plasticity, flexibility, or expansibility. Epoxy soybean oleic acid 2- ethyl hexyl ester, also known as epoxy soybean oleate isooctyl, light yellow oil like liquid. Relative density (250C) 0.92~0.98. The refractive index (250C) 1.4580~1.4585. Flash point (cup method) >2000C. Auxiliary plasticizer and auxiliary heat stabilizer. The cold resistance, resistance to migration and oil resistance are better. Non-toxic。
Epoxy stearic acid 2- ethyl hexyl ester, also known as epoxy stearate octyl or epoxy eighteen isooctyl, light yellow oil like liquid. The molecular weight is 410. Relative density (200C) 0.900~0.910. The refractive index (250C) is 1.4537, and the solidification point is -13.50C. Flash point 2650C. Compatible with PVC. Auxiliary plasticizer and auxiliary heat stabilizer. Heat resistance, cold resistance, weatherability, volatile and extractable resistance. Some countries are allowed to use food packaging materials.
Acetyl tributyl citrate, colorless oily liquid. The molecular weight is 402. Relative density (250C) 1.046. The refractive index (25.50C) 1.4408. Solidification point -800C. Flash point (cup method) 2040C. The citrate plasticizer is widely used as a plasticizer, which is compatible with PVC, PVDC and so on. It can be used as a PVDC plasticizer. The heat resistance, cold resistance and water resistance are good. Nontoxic and odorless. Some countries have been allowed to use food packaging materials.
Acetyl citric acid three (2- ethyl hexyl) ester, colorless oil like liquid. The molecular weight is 571. Relative density (250C) 0.983. Flow point -19.40C. Flash point (cup method) 2240C. PVC, PVDC plasticizer. Cold resistance, good volatility. Nontoxic, some countries allow for the use of food packaging materials.
In order to overcome the shortcomings of the surface migration of PVC products and the precipitation on the surface of products, polymer plasticizer has been developed at home and abroad. For example, the PVC/TPU elastomer obtained by thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) instead of DOP (TPU is 50%), the tensile strength is 23Mpa, and the elongation at break is 450%.
In addition, a soft PVC product with tensile strength of 17Mpa and a breaking elongation of 350% can be obtained by mixing 41% EVA - CO three - copolymer in PVC. The results show that the plasticizing efficiency of the polymer plasticizer is not as good as the low molecular plasticizer, and it is better to use both of the plasticizers and the plasticizer. In recent years, European and American countries have produced a variety of soft PVC products with polymer plasticizer, especially Elvaloy 742.
