The effect of NMAM on emulsion performance. In the polymerization process, NMAM is used as a copolymer to introduce the n-hydroxymethyl group in the copolymer chain. In the process of film-forming, there can be condensation reactions between n-hydroxymethyl groups. The experiment proved that when NMAM dosage is 2% of the total monomer, composite crosslinking can significantly improve the waterproof latex adhesion, water resistance, alkali resistance, tensile strength and elongation at break, etc.
