Sealed isocyanate paint crosslinking agent
The effect of different types of closed isocyanate on film performance. B1 and B2 were used respectively to two closed isocyanate crosslinking agent, with proper organic tin drier, n (─ NCO)/n (─ OH) = 1:1. The chemical composition of the closed isocyanate B1 is 3, 5-dimethyprazole (DMP), B2 is MEKO, and the film performance test is obtained.
With closed isocyanate B1 as crosslinking agent of paint film comprehensive performance is excellent, in the dry resistance, resistance to chemical media and artificial accelerated aging obviously superior to B2 system. This is because in DMP closed isocyanate is MEKO have lower deblocking temperature (see table 4), it can unlock under 110 ~ 120 ° C, to make it stronger coating the applicability of the formula, can satisfy the coating in crosslinking curing within the wider temperature range.

Unlike other sealants, DMP sealants remain mainly in the coating during baking and are later used as inert filler. Therefore, the use of DMP sealant reduces the emissions during the baking process, and the residue is not only inert in the finished coating, but also low toxicity.
The requirements for each performance test are as follows:

Test conditions for artificially accelerating aging performance
(1) irradiance: under normal conditions, the radiation wavelength is 290 ~ 340 nm, and the irradiation is 0.6 W/(m2 / nm).
(2) the environment temperature, temperature control the whole test cycle in 50 ° C.
(3) condensate: the use of common tap water.
(4) rainfall: 4 h / 4 h for the period of rainfall (i.e., "rain time/no rainfall time").
