In this paper, the effect of microparticle diameter crosslinking agent on the properties of powder coatings was discussed by introducing the properties of pure epoxy and pure polyester crosslinking agent in powder coatings.
The powder coating is a kind of environmental coating which is free of solvent and average particle size of 35 micron and is baked into film after electrostatic spraying. Mainly used in household appliances, steel doors and Windows, metal box and other workpieces.
With powder coating market constantly to develop and penetration, powder coatings manufacturers pay more attention to eliminate coating defects, improve coating roughness, decrease the temperature of coating crosslinked (energy saving), to achieve these, choose suitable with the micro particle size of crosslinking agent.
Through the different physical and chemical methods to the surface modification of micro particle size of crosslinking agent, to a certain extent change particles on the surface of the crystal structure to improve its reactivity, improving its dispersibility in the matrix, reinforcing and matrix interface binding force, achieve the goal of powder surface modification.
