Epoxy plasticizers mainly include epoxy oil, epoxidation fatty acid monoester and epoxidation of four hydrogen phthalate ester and so on. Epoxy plasticizers all contain epoxy structures in their molecules, and have good heat-resistant and light resistant properties.
Epoxidized oils, such as epoxidized soybean oil, epoxidized linseed oil, high epoxy value, generally 6% to 7%, its heat resistance, light resistance, oil resistance and volatile performance is good, but cold and plasticizing effect is poor.
The epoxy value of epoxide fatty acid monoester is mostly 3% to 5%, which is generally good cold resistance, and plasticizing effect is better than DOA. It is mostly used in products that need cold resistance and weather resistance. The epoxidized fatty acid ester with epoxy oleic butyl, octyl, four hydrogen furfuryl ester etc..
