Organic silicon lacquer can be divided into three types, namely, pure organic silicon, and the cold mix and copolymers of other resins.
Pure organic silicon type: with high temperature, oxidation resistance, hydrophobic, corrosion resistance and excellent electrical insulation performance, anti-mold and weather resistance. Poor solvent, adhesion and mechanical strength are not good. The crosslinking time is long and the price is high.
Cold mix: increased mechanical strength, reduced crosslinking temperature, increased solvability and adhesion.
Copolymers: solubility, color, adhesion, flexibility are all better than cold mixed silicone.
The excellent performance and USES of silicone paint are as follows:
1. High temperature: temperature is 200 ℃, if adding aluminum powder or high temperature resistant paint temperature can reach 400 ~ 400 ℃, special can reach 800 ~ 900 ℃. According to this feature, it can be made resistant to high temperature paint.
Oxidation resistance: it can be made into a special coating, which is not yellow and non-powdery, which is good for color protection and light protection. The white enamel is used in hospital equipment and can remain white.
Excellent hydrophobic: in high temperature and humid environment, also has the ability of weathering and anti-embroidering.
Excellent electrical performance: not only insulation resistance is high, but also excellent performance in breakdown strength and high voltage arc, electrical spark.
Good chemical resistance: soak in acid and alkali solution for 100 hours, and the paint film is still in good condition.
It's very hardy. - 50 ℃ low temperature resistance, while the organic silicone modified polyester paint can be - under 80 ℃ low temperature resistance, thus can be used in cold region.
Silicone paint and various kinds of modified silicone paint with high temperature resistance, insulation, adhesion and resistance to solvent, the advantages of good performance, so is mostly used as insulating paint, high-temperature paint, there are more than 20 varieties.
