The yield of magnesium hydroxide increases with the increase of the amount of ammonia magnesium. When the amount of ammonia magnesium is 4:1, the yield is 88%.
The volume ratio of ammonia magnesium is increasing, the yield change is not obvious, so it is not only increasing the cost, but also the environmental pollution caused by the evaporation of ammonia. The optimal amount of ammonia magnesium is determined by a ratio of 4:1.
The yield rate decreases with the reaction temperature increasing when the ratio of the amount of fixed ammonia magnesium is considered, and the effect of the initial temperature on the yield of magnesium hydroxide is considered. This is because the initial temperature increases, and the evaporation of ammonia increases. To 40 kg of microcapsule red phosphorus 15 kg, 20 kg magnesium hydroxide, melamine and thermoplastic polyurethane 30 kg mixer mixing in the 200 ℃ after 10 min, crushed into aggregate, then the composite flame retardant aggregate 40 kg and 70 kg homopolymerization POM after mixed with proper amount of antioxidant solid-phase in extruder extrusion granulation, flame retardant POM. The flame retardant performance of this product reaches UL94 V - 2, and the material notch impact strength is 7.0 kJ/m2.
And molybdenum, nitrogen and phosphorus - nitrogen mixture flame retardant system of flame retardant additives compared with inorganic hydroxide flame retardants not only add quantity is little, and basically does not cause POM decomposition, in the aspect of POM flame retardant have good application prospect.
Although part of the flame retardant POM material at home and abroad reached a high standard of flame retardant, but its mechanical performance degradation is serious, the emergence of the composite flame retardant system although make contradiction of the two improved, but how to improve the flame retardant performance of POM and not reduce its mechanical performance or reduce its mechanical properties, is still a problem to be solved.
