Multiple crosslinked modified water-based coatings
The use of an internal crosslinking agent for modification alone does not allow the emulsion to achieve superior overall performance. So, at the same time, we use three hydroxyl propane and castor oil, epoxy resin to modification of PU, preparation of PUA hybrid emulsion, give full play to the advantages of various components, foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, get the good flexibility at low temperature, high hardness, good water resistance and chemical resistance, excellent comprehensive performance of waterborne wood coatings.
Infrared spectrum analysis shows, 3428 cm - 1 for hydroxyl characteristic peak, and 2860 cm, 2930 cm - 1-1 of castor oil fatty acid molecular chain methyl and methylene characteristic peak, 1750 ~ 1744 cm - 1 for the ester carbonyl characteristic absorption peak.
Spectra of 3428 cm - 1 hydroxyl disappear, in the 3300 cm - 1 and 3300 ~ 1537 cm - 1 N - H characteristic absorption peak, suggests that the NCO and hydroxy all reaction to generate carbamic acid ester base, 1720 cm - 1 for the ester carbonyl characteristic peak, because hydrogen bonding and carbamate bonds form characteristic peak shift, 1620 ~ 1560 cm - 1 for carboxylate characteristic peak, castor oil has reaction with polyurethane.
In 3303 and 1730 cm - 1 cm - 1 has the very strong NH groups and CO absorption peak, it shows that in the process of the performed NCO and OH reactive reaction generates a large amount of ammonia ester bond; 1229 cm - 1 is the expansion of the COC base in the ammonia group, which also indicates the presence of the ammonia ester.
In more than 1150 cm - 1 a strong absorption peak, GaiFeng is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) CO group stretching vibration characteristic peaks, thus formed the polyurethane acrylate composite emulsion. By literature, and 830 cm, 915 cm - 1-1 is the characteristic absorption peaks of epoxy group, tracked 915 cm - 1 peak intensity can characterize epoxide group is open loop. The disappearance of the characteristic peak of the epoxy group at 915 cm-1 and 830 cm-1 indicates the opening ring reaction of the epoxy. The comparison between the characteristic absorption peak intensity of the n-h of 3,300 cm-1 and 1538 cm-1 indicates that multiple crosslinks have been produced.

The product is identical to Ethancure 100 and Lonza DETDA 80, DETDA is very effective polyurethane elastomer chain extender; also be used as polyurethane and epoxy resin curing agent, epoxy resin of an antioxidant, industrial oils and lubricants . In addition, also as intermediates in organic synthesis.Especially for the RIM (reaction injection molding), is important in the field of spray polyurea chain extender species. Also can be used for casting polyurethane elastomer (CPU) and a curing agent, epoxy curing agent, epoxy resin of antioxidants, lubricants and industrial oils other antioxidants.
Using castor oil, trihydroxy propane and epoxy resin, the multiple crosslinked modified PUA composite emulsion was synthesized. Study showed that emulsifying process USES normal temperature water emulsion, the emulsion with good performance, with castor oil, three hydroxyl propane, and the increase of epoxy resin content, the viscosity of compound emulsion, emulsion appearance and storage stability, film hardness, resistance to water, alcohol, the fouling resistance, flexibility.
Appropriate amount of castor oil to add 5% ~ 5% of total solid quality for system, epoxy resin content for the system total solid content of 4% ~ 6%, three hydroxyl propane content for the system total solid content of 2% ~ 3%.
Performance tests show that the multiple crosslinking modification of waterborne wood coatings have excellent low temperature flexibility, high hardness, water resistance, good chemical resistance, excellent comprehensive performance.
The effect of diplomatic couplets on coating properties. Using nitrogen functional monomers of acrylic acid glyceride, SD, etc as the crosslinking functional monomer, make the function of the emulsion stability, mixed with foreign agent PAE and diplomatic agent in film phase reaction, improve the coating crosslinking degree, reduce the hydrophilicity of coating, thus improve the coating water resistance, solvent resistance and hardness, etc.
Polyamide epoxy chloropropane can react with reactive groups such as carboxyl and hydroxyl, and make the resin molecular chain crosslinking, and improve the membrane resistance and mechanical properties. According to the functional group ratio 1:1, the emulsion and diplomatic agent (fertilizer diluted activation in advance) well, fully mixing, apply a certain size of the glass plate and galvanized iron sheet. After placing 3d at room temperature, the solidification reaction was completed, and the hardness, water absorption and adhesion of the pencil were measured by national standard.
