The hardening characteristics of furan resin sand

Furan resin sand preparation technology
Mixing process: in order to make the resin, furan resin crosslinking agent, coupling agent can cover the surface of sand grain in the shortest time, the mixer should be mixed. Furan resin sand is not suitable for grinding wheel type sand mixer, most of which are used to stir the main continuous mixer or bowl mixer.
It should be pointed out that when the resin is added to the sand that has been mixed with the crosslinking agent, it should be mixed in a few seconds to a half minute, and the sand molding should be made as soon as possible. It is not possible to mix the sand in the mixer for too long.
Process characteristics of old sand regeneration process:
1. Furan resin sand is hardened at normal temperature using furan resin and acid crosslinking agent. The mold is of high strength and accurate size. In pouring metal liquid, furan resin is heated and decomposed, burning, large and concentrated, and it is easy to form stomatal defects.
2. Furan resin sand in the molding, the dry sand is poured into the sandbox, its fluidity is good, can not need to vigorously grind sand. The distance between sand grains is much larger than the clay sand, and the air permeability is good.
3. The furan resin sand, adopting fast and smooth pouring system, make the metal inside the mold quickly or to a certain height, the pressure of the liquid metal can prevent gas into the casting in the resin sand, forcing the gas escape from the permeability is good sand mold;
4. The furan resin sand mold heat conduction slow, it is not easy to casting cooling, due consideration when design riser casting cools, breakup sex good, deoxidization, convenient and casting surface roughness and size accuracy higher than clay sand castings.
