Flax fabric with flame retardant
Flax fabric compound flame retardant test fabric: 2.68 Tex x 3.11 Tex (220s x 190s) boiled bleached linen.
The preparation of linen fabric with flame retardant: heat the APP water solution of a certain quality score to transparent, cool to room temperature, then add MEL and mix well.
Flax fabric with flame retardant finishing process: pad (kernel no.2 rolling, rolling over at a rate of 90%) and preliminary drying (90 ℃ x 4 min) - > curing (150 ℃), 2 min) - water - dry
(1) combustion performance. The limit oxygen index (LOI) was tested by reference to GB/t5454-1997 test of oxygen index method for textile combustion performance. Using oxygen index tester, the gas flow rate is 10L/min and the sample size is 150mm x 55mm. The higher the limit oxygen index (LOI), the better the flame retardant performance.
Vertical combustion control test of the vertical method of textile combustion performance test. Using horizontal vertical combustion apparatus, the ignition time is 12s, the weight of weight is 113.4 g, and the sample size is 300mm x 80mm. Class B1: the carbon loss of carbon is no more than 15cm, the secondary combustion time is less than 5s, and the smoldering time is less than 5s. Grade 2B2: the carbon damage is less than 20cm, the reburning time is less than 10s, and the smoldering time is less than 10s.
(2) thermal reanalysis (TG). Using thermogravimetric tester tests, the heating rate 10 ℃ / min, temperature from 40 ℃ to 700 ℃. Up to 700 ℃, the higher the rate of residual carbon, the better the performance of flame retardant.
(3) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). After the sample was burned on the oxygen index tester, it was cut to 2mm by 2mm and attached to the surface of the round copper sheet. The formation and foaming of the coking layer of the linen fabrics were observed by electron microscopy. The thicker the coke layer formed, the greater the foaming, the better the flame retardant.
(4) breaking strength. The determination of tensile strength and breaking elongation of the first part of textile fabrics was tested by referring to p3 / t3923.1-1997. The fabric specification is 25cm x 5cm, and in YGO26A type electronic fabric strength test, the average is averaged for 3 times of test and weft.

Tris (1,3-Dichloro-2-Propyl) Phosphate (Flame Retardant TDCPP) Use:
The Product Has A High Efficiency Flame Retardant, Low Volatility, High Thermal Stability, Water Resistance, Alkali Stable And Soluble In Most Organic Substances, Processing Performance, With Plastic, Moisture, Anti-Static, Anti-Pull, Anti-Compression Performance. Widely Used In Unsaturated Polyester, Polyurethane Foam, Epoxy Resin, Phenolic Resin, Rubber, Soft Polyvinyl Chloride, Synthetic Fibers And Other Plastics And Coatings At High Temperature Pyrolysis, Can Be Used As Emulsifier And Explosion-Proof Agent
(5) mortar. Reference/T8424 2-2001 "textile color fastness test instrument assessment method of relative whiteness, in WSD - Ⅱ whiteness meter test. The fabric folds into four layers and tests eight times to take an average.
(6) breathability. The test of air permeability of textile fabrics was determined by reference to pa/T5453 1997. The sample of 25cm x 25cm was taken and Y561 fabric breathalyzer was used to measure the amount of air through the fabric in the unit time under certain pressure difference condition.
(7) feel. The highest score is 10, the lowest is 0, and at least 3 people are subjective, taking the average. The higher the score, the better the feeling.
Ratio of APP and MEL: effects on flax fabric flame retardant performance using different dosage of APP and MEL puffing flame retardants, for linen fabric finishing, not finishing flax fabric limit oxygen index of 21%, to do with flame combustion on quickly, generate gray powder.
When the application amount of flame retardant is 5%, the flax fabric has good flame retardancy, and the flame retardant effect basically meets the national standard B1 level. In addition, adding proper amount of MEL to flame retardant APP can improve the flame retardancy of linen fabrics. The experiment showed that the optimized ratio of APP and MEL was 2:1, and the length of carbon loss was 10.2cm, and it was extinguished from fire.
Dosage of flame retardant finishing of linen fabric flame retardant performance: the influence of different mass fraction of APP/MEL expansion type flame retardant (APP and MEL ratio of 2:1) flame retardant finishing of flax fabric, test after finishing fire retardant properties of flax fabric.
As the quality score of flame retardants increased, the limit oxygen index of linen fabrics improved continuously. When the dosage of flame retardant is 25%, the limit oxygen index of flax fabric is as high as 37%, and the vertical burning carbon loss reaches 10.0 cm, indicating that the linen fabric has good flame retardant performance.
