2.3 nitropropyl (1-aziridine, Aziridine) crosslinking agent. Phenolic resin paints are made of phenolic resin or modified phenolic resin as the main resin. Phenolic resin is mainly substituted for natural resin and dry oil. Due to phenolic resin, the coating has good performance in hardness, gloss, fast drying, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance and insulation. So it is widely used in wood, furniture, architecture, electrical and other aspects. But the phenolic resin can make the paint to have darker color, the paint film is yellow in the aging process, not suitable for making light color and white paint.
The phenolic resin paint used in the coating industry is mainly three kinds of oil soluble pure phenolic resin, rosin modified phenolic resin and alcohol soluble pure phenolic resin.
Alcohol-soluble phenolic resin paint has two kinds: thermoplastic and thermosetting. Thermoplastic is rarely used. Generally, it is varnish. It's a phenolic resin that doesn't use grease.
Thermoplastic alcohol-dissolved phenolic resin paint: it is a kind of volatile self-drying lacquer, drying very quickly. Has even good acid, organic solvent, acid gas resistance, low toxicity, but film brittle, turn red in the sun, refractoriness under 90 ℃, performance not as good as thermosetting phenolic resin paint, and so are not widely applied.
Thermosetting alcohol-dissolved phenolic resin paint: it is hard to bake after baking, has good moisture-proof performance and insulation, and is suitable for gluing laminate products.
Rosin modified phenolic resin paint: the most used type of phenolic resin paint. It has high hardness, good drying, durability, chemical resistance, good insulation and low price. The disadvantage is that the paint film is easy to yellowing. Widely used in wood furniture, construction, general mechanical products, and ships, insulation, fine arts, etc.
Butanol modified phenolic resin paint: soluble in benzene solvents. The paint film is resistant to water and acid, but it is brittle and can be baked at high temperature.

100% oil-soluble pure phenolic resin paint: two types: non-oil reaction type and oil reactive resin paint. Pure phenolic resin paint has good water resistance, acid resistance, solvent resistance and electrical insulation. Pure phenolic resin can be used as primer, enamel, varnish, etc., and can be made into dispersible phenolic resin paint. This is a kind of adhesion excellent, the film has good durability, wear resistance, high moisture resistant resin paint.
The antifoaming agent is one of the most difficult to control the elimination of the foam in water. The paint solution bubbles when stirred in the coating. The bubbles that exist in the paint solution are not eliminated in time and the paint film is dry, forming an unacceptable defect. The paint will also produce bubbles during production, pumping and filling.
Defoaming is factors that cannot be ignored in the process of formula design, defoaming mechanism of the defoaming agent is made by wetting infiltrate into the bubble film generated by the system and continue to spread in the film, bubble film surface tension imbalance and to break the bubble.
In general, defoaming agent into foam suppression agent and broken bubble agent, foam inhibitors is the function of inhibition of water-based coatings under the action of external force, bubble, and to break the bubble agent mainly spread quickly on the face of the generated bubble film, bubble of elastic membrane, rupture, but often the two kind of tie-in use effect is better, or at least want to choose a kind of effective antifoaming agent.
Most defoaming agent, especially silicone defoamer, shrinkage cavity in dosage is too large will make wet paint film, and thus the amount of defoaming agent based on principles of can basically eliminate air bubbles, not excessive pursuit of defoaming effect, lest appear such as shrinkage cavity side effects. In the case of water-based wood lacquer, the mineral oil and oil antifoaming agent is more tolerant than that of silicone defoaming agent, and it is not easy to add a serious shrinkage, which can be chosen first.
