In this study, on the basis of the preparation of cationic acrylic hydroxyl resin with acrylic resin by double bond of siloxane double bonds on the reaction of the silane grafted onto the acrylic resin, the preparation of single-component self-crosslinking acrylic cathodic electrophoretic coating resin, is of great significance both in theory and application.
Experimental raw materials and reagents: methyl methacrylate (MMA), azo diisobutyronitrile (AIBN), ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, were chemically pure; Acrylate (BA), benzoyl peroxide (BPO), n-butyl alcohol, and acetic acid are all analyzed. Different synthetic borneol methacrylate (IBMA), hydroxyl ethyl methacrylate (HEMA), methyl acrylic acid, N, N - dimethyl amine ethyl ester (DMAEMA), N - methylol acrylamide (NMA), organic siloxane monomer (1706), are all industrial products.
The synthesis of modified acrylic resin: the polymerization reaction is carried out in the N2 atmosphere, the total mass of the monomer is 10g, the initiator quality is 3% of the monomer, the solvent 3g, the ionized water 40g.
Using three kinds of polymerization process: (1) one-time feeding method. The initiator in the solvent dissolved in monomer, reaction under a certain temperature for 5 h, then cooled to 50 ℃ to join and DMAEMA substances such as the amount of acetic acid neutralization, adding deionized water dispersed quickly. (2) the semi-continuous drop addition. The initiator in the solvent dissolved in monomer, then transfers the 1/3 of the mixture into three flask, remaining within 2 h continuous drip added to the mixture, drip off heat preservation 3 h, the remaining steps up. (3) continuous drip addition. The initiator with solvent soluble in monomer in within 3 h of continuous drops to the three flask, drip off insulation 2 h, the remaining steps.
