Acrylonitrile rubber plasticizer
The effects of NBR plasticizer on low temperature properties, vulcanization properties, mechanical properties and aging properties of NBR (NBR) were studied. The nitrile rubber plasticizer was compared with the common plasticizer DOA, DOP.
The results showed that adding the acrylonitrile butadiene rubber plasticizer TP290B and the TP295 containing ether ester group, the glass transition temperature of NBR vulcanizate decreased significantly, and the tensile properties and brittleness properties at low temperature were better than those of DOA and DOP. The acrylonitrile rubber plasticizer TP290B and TP295 have a certain promoting effect on the vulcanization, and the 100% and 300% of the vulcanizate have higher tensile stress. TP295 has good thermal stability under the condition of hot air aging, while TP290B is more volatile.
Plasticizers can improve the processing properties of polymers, reduce the melting temperature and vitrification temperature, reduce the viscosity of the melt and increase the fluidity of the polymer, which are widely used. Plasticizers are usually a difficult to volatilize a viscous liquid or a easily melted solid. The ideal plasticizer should have the characteristics of good compatibility with resin, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, low mobility, good durability, good stability and non-toxic and so on.
Two formic acid two phthalate (2- ethylhexyl) ester (DOP) as NBR commonly used plasticizer, exhibit good plasticizing effect and excellent cold resistance, but in recent years the American Institute for cancer research (NCI) and the food and Drug Administration (FDA) proposed by DOP may be carcinogenic, the European Union and the United States banned 3 children under the age of toys and supplies the use of 6 kinds of phthalate DOP including two formic acid ester plasticizer. Therefore, the development and application of environmentally friendly non toxic plasticizers have attracted wide attention.
In this paper, the effects of environment-friendly plasticizer TP295 (certified by FDA), TP290B and commonly used plasticizer DOA[, adipic acid two (2- ethyl hexyl ester) and DOP on the properties of NBR were studied.
Experimental raw materials. NBR, 3445 (acrylonitrile mass fraction is 34%), plasticizer TP295 (adipate alkyl ether ester), TP290B (alkyl polyether), other coordination agents are commonly used raw materials for rubber industry.
The basic formula (mass) NBR, 100; white carbon black, 25; ZnO, 5; stearic acid, 1; Si69, 2; 15; white oil, plasticizers (TP295, TP290B, DOP, DOA) were 15 and 30; 1; antioxidant SP2P, accelerator DM, accelerator M, 1.7; 0.5; accelerator TT, 0.8; sulfur, 1.8.
Instruments and testing methods. The vulcanization characteristic of the mixed compound is tested by GT-M2000 vulcanizer, and the temperature is 160. Z010 type electronic tensile testing machine to test the mechanical properties of the vulcanizate; hot air aging properties by using GT-7017-M type hot air aging test, temperature 100, time 70h; glass transition temperature using DSC204-F1 differential scanning calorimeter, the temperature of -80 to 30 DEG C, the heating rate of 10 DEG /min; low temperature tensile properties of the 5500R type universal testing machine, the temperature of -35 DEG C; HG4-841 type testing machine with low temperature brittle brittle performance. The performance is tested according to the corresponding national standards.
Use of two octyl terephthalate (plasticizer DOTP)
1.DOTP has good electrical and thermal properties. It can be used to replace DOP in the sheath of PVC plastic wire and can also be used in the production of artificial leather membrane. 3. because the linear molecular structure of DOTP is similar to DOS and DOA, its cold resistance is also better.
The volume resistivity of 4.DOTP is 10-20 times higher than that of DOP, and its mobility is excellent.

According to its action mechanism, it can be divided into 3 kinds of action modes. The influence of plasticizer on the cold resistance of rubber is closely related to its molecular structure and relative molecular mass. The plasticizer containing straight chain alkyl has good cold resistance, while the more the branched or ring structure is, the worse the cold tolerance is.
The vitrification temperature of different plasticizers (30 parts) and without any plasticizer NBR vulcanizate (blank).
